We’ve gathered answers to the main questions about NAMED courses, entrance exams, Czech language, documents, visas, accommodation, and the preparation format.
What are preparatory courses?
We have been providing subject-specific preparation for students for more than 5 years for admission to medicine, dentistry, and medical specializations. We also offer additional hours of Czech medical vocabulary for the C1 exam and preparation for the interview at the Second and Third Faculties of Medicine.
Which subjects are included in the study program?
The course includes biology, physics, and chemistry.
Who are these courses for?
For anyone who wants to dedicate their life to medicine and the natural sciences. Anyone who has set a high goal of getting into a European medical university can study with us: our youngest student was only 16 (and became the youngest medical student in Czechia), and our oldest was over 35.
Which universities accept graduates of your courses?
Most of our successful students study at Charles University, the largest and best-known university in Czechia. Our students also study at Masaryk University, the University of Chemistry and Technology, CTU (Czech Technical University), CZU (Czech University of Life Sciences), Secondary Medical School (Střední zdravotnická škola), and others.
What are the main requirements for admission to Czech universities?
Successful completion of all stages of the entrance exams and nostrification of the secondary school diploma.
What format of study is offered?
In person in Prague or online from anywhere in the world. Both formats run simultaneously, and students receive the same amount of material and the same attention from lecturers regardless of the format. All students also get recordings of all classes for the entire year.
How long does the course last?
The course starts at the end of September and ends at the end of May, a few days before the entrance exams.
How many hours per week are classes?
Annual course: 3 lessons of 90 minutes each (physics, chemistry, and biology) are held in person only on Saturdays each week. Annual course MAX: in addition to in-person classes, 2 extra lessons (each week, evenly alternating combinations of 2 lessons in physics, chemistry, or biology) of 60 minutes are held in the evenings at a time convenient for lecturers and students on weekdays.
Is it possible to join the courses in the middle of the academic year?
We do not accept new students into the annual course after October, but we offer students our six-month course, starting in January.
Do you help with accommodation and visa matters?
We provide language preparation in full from zero to C1 level. When you purchase a language course, you receive visa support and help with accommodation matters.
How much do the courses cost?

Is literature and additional materials included in the course price?
Yes, all additional literature and all materials are included in the price.
Do I need to take a Czech language exam for admission?
Yes, the First Faculty of Medicine, the faculties of medicine in Plzeň and Hradec require a C1 certificate in Czech for admission, and at the Second and Third Faculties of Medicine, part of the exam is successfully passing an oral interview before a committee on an equal footing with Czech applicants.
Does the course include preparation for the language test?
We teach in Czech, so our students hear Czech scientific as well as everyday language throughout the year. We offer additional hours of Czech medical vocabulary for the C1 exam and preparation for the interview at the Second and Third Faculties of Medicine.
Do you help with submitting applications to universities?
We explain to our students how and when to submit applications to the university, and advise them where to apply. We also accompany groups of our students to entrance exams and offer joint faculty tours and trips to Open Days.
Do you offer mock entrance exams?
Yes, at the end of the year we run 2 rounds of mock entrance exams with an oral interview with native-speaking doctors.

Do you offer open lessons or trial classes?
Yes, we announce trial classes on our Instagram and Telegram. The year-long and half-year courses always start with free trial classes.
